Curfew in some areas of France:

    October 16, 2020
Faced with a deteriorating health situation, a curfew was put in place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the Ile de France and for eight metropolises: Aix-Marseille, Grenoble, Lille, Lyon, Montpellier, Rouen, Saint-Étienne and Toulouse.

This one will last 6 weeks. Failure to comply with the curfew will result in:

First penalty: a fine of 135 euros, increased to 375 euros (in case of non-payment or non-contest within the time indicated on the notice of contravention)
In case of re-offending within 15 days: a fine of 200 euros, increased to 450 euros (in case of non-payment or non-contest within the time indicated on the notice of contravention)
After 3 offences in 30 days: a fine of 3750 euros punishable by 6 months imprisonment.
The health situation in France continues to deteriorate and the virus is still dangerous for us and our loved ones. It is imperative to remain vigilant in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic.
